Joint laboratory for design and technology of new-generation holograms

Summary
Main target of the project is establishment of 'Joint research laboratory for design of security
holograms' of the Optaglio company and Nanotechnology centre Technical University of Ostrava.
The joint laboratory enables the project applicant to exploit wide research knowledge,
experiences with application of recent scientific discoveries of basic photonic research, advanced
experimental and characterization equipment and technology, and also modern software and
hardware infrastructure in the frame of National supercomputer centre IT4Innovations at VŠB-
TUO. Other project targets is specific exploitation of the laboratory for development and testing of
novel security elements based on recent discoveries and leading to increased international
competitiveness of Optaglio company.
